What Your Boudoir Session Day Looks Like
I know a consultation call isn't always easy to schedule — so I want to walk you through the whole day right here, in plain language, so you know exactly what to expect before you ever fill out a single field.
Most women who walk through these studio doors have never done anything like this before. They simply reached a point where they wanted to do something meaningful for themselves — and decided they were ready to invest in that experience. If that's where you are, you're in exactly the right place.
Your privacy is always respected. Images are only shared publicly when a client gives explicit written permission.
When you arrive at the studio in Waynesboro, you'll find easy parking right beside the building. Once you walk through the door, the outside world kind of fades out. The studio is warm, comfortable, and designed so you can relax and focus entirely on yourself and the experience.
You'll start your day in Emily's chair. She's been with me from the beginning and she is genuinely magic. Hair and makeup takes about 90 minutes — not because it's complicated, but because this is the part where you get to just sit and be taken care of. Whether you want soft natural glam or a full dramatic look, Emily will make sure it photographs beautifully AND still looks like you. You tell her what makes you feel like yourself and she builds from there.
Once you're glammed up, we head to the wardrobe room. I have 400+ pieces — lingerie, robes, bodysuits, corsets, sets, sheer layers — in sizes S through 5X. You are absolutely welcome to bring your own pieces too, and I'd suggest putting together 3 or 4 outfits if you can. Bringing your own adds something personal and meaningful. But if you're coming in empty-handed, I've got you completely covered. We pull looks together that work for your body, your goals, and the vibe you're going for.
The session runs about 90 minutes and I want you to hear this clearly — you do not need to know how to pose. Not even a little. Every single pose is guided and demonstrated by me. I'll show you exactly where to put your hands, how to angle your chin, where to look. You never have to guess or feel awkward. My job is to make you look incredible, and I take that seriously. Most women are nervous for the first five minutes and laughing by the end. That part happens pretty much every time.
Once we wrap, you head out for lunch while I start preparing your images for your reveal appointment. Before you leave, I hand you two Polaroid photos — a little sneak peek to hold onto while you wait. Then about 7 to 10 days later, you come back to the studio for your reveal appointment. That's when you see your images for the very first time on a big screen, in full resolution, with music and good lighting. You choose your favorites right there. A lot of happy tears happen in that room. A lot of women also end up wanting more than they planned for — because seeing yourself that way changes things.
Everything I just described — professional hair and makeup with Emily, access to the full client closet, the guided 90-minute photoshoot, complimentary lunch, your two Polaroids, and your reveal appointment — is all included in your $600 session fee. Your images and products are chosen separately at the reveal. All image and product collections are fully paid before your session day, which gives you time to comfortably prepare for your session — things like manicures, pedicures, waxing, and any personal prep you'd like to do beforehand. There is no minimum purchase requirement — you simply choose the images and products you love. Most clients invest somewhere between $2,800 and $5,400 depending on what they fall in love with, and there are pre-payment options so you don't have to have it all at once.

After your date is confirmed, you'll receive your contract to review and sign. Along with it comes your prep guide — everything you need to know about what to bring, how to prepare, and what to expect walking in.
Your only job is to walk through the door. Hair, makeup, wardrobe, posing — Deanna and Emily take it from there. You leave with two Polaroids and a date on the calendar for your private reveal appointment.
You return to the studio to see your images for the first time on a large screen. You choose your favorites, select your products, and leave with a clear picture of what's coming — and usually a few more happy tears than expected.
